David is an award-winning singer/songwriter who has toured North America, released 4 CD’s, and has worked with the Muppets, Sesame Workshop, and Disney. Last summer, he and his wife Irene co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding, which was picked up from the Toronto Fringe Festival by Mirvish Productions and extended five times, receiving rave reviews and playing to over 50,000 people. An accomplished designer and illustrator, David holds a BFA in set/lighting design and has designed over 60 productions including Franklin’s Big Adventure and the New York premiere of Trey Parker’s Cannibal: The Musical! Irene holds an MFA in Acting from the Actor’s Studio Drama School in New York City, is a graduate of Second City’s Conservatory Program and received an Honours BA in Creative Writing and Psychology from York University. Favourite theatre credits include Mollie in The Mousetrap while it was the longest running show in Canada (Toronto Truck Theatre), Lisa/Referee in Never Swim Alone and Constance in Goodnight Desdemona/ Goodmorning Juliet (Circle in the Square Downtown, NYC) and all 12 characters in the one-woman show, Moving at the Speed of Life (City Playhouse Theatre). Film and television credits include If Key Lime Pie Could Scream, The True History of Vampires, Forensic Factor, and Zero Hour: The Last Hour of Flight 11, one of the Top 10 History Channel programs of all time.
STAFFORD ARIMA was nominated for a 2004 Laurence Olivier Award as Best Director for his West End production of Ragtime. His production of Altar Boyz received the 2005 Best Off-Broadway Musical Outer Critics Circle Award, was nominated for 7 Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Musical, and ran for over 2,000 performances in New York City. Matt choreographed Will Ferrell's Broadway debut, You're Welcome America, directed by Adam McKay (Tony Nomination, Best Theatrical Event), and made his Off-Broadway debut as choreographer with Paul Scott Goodman's Rooms, directed by Scott Schwartz. Matt also served as Assistant Director to Casey Nicholaw on this spring’s Broadway production, All About Me, starring Michael Feinstein and Dame Edna. Matt created the choreography for the world premiere of Wicked creator Stephen Schwartz’s new opera, Séance on a Wet Afternoon, which arrives at New York City Opera in 2011. Matt self-produced his first full length dance play, WARD 9, at the 2008 New York Musical Theater Festival, for which he received the festival’s award for Best Choreography. Matt holds the title of 'Big Piano Choreographer' at the FAO Schwarz Toy Store in New York City where he continually recreates and reinvents the world famous piano dancing scene from the hit film Big. He is also the resident choreographer for the East Coast tour of the internationally acclaimed youth circus, Circus Smirkus. Matt's choreography has appeared at The Alley Theatre, Lincoln Center, Irish Repertory Theatre, La Mama, The Rubicon Theatre, Stamford Center for the Arts, Metrostage, and Geva Theatre. BART SHATTO (Garth). Bart originated the role of Quincey Morris in Broadway's "Dracula". He also was in the original cast of the Tony-nominated "The Civil War": Our Story in Song". Bart also played the role of Jean Valjean in both Broadway and National Tour of "Les Miserables". He is also a Helen Hayes nominee for the Ford's production of "Civil War". Bart has been a resident vocalist with Gold/Platinum selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra for eight years. Bart has performed at Carnegie Hall twice and sang for President Bush at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C.
