Albinokid, a group of musicians led by Anthony Rapp, is a self titled “alternapop” band that is know for its covers, including songs from the musicals Rent and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, along with songs by REM, Radiohead, and original songs from Anthony's album "Look Around”.

New York City trio GrooveLily inhabits that contemporary space where creative musicians ignore the boundaries laid down by words like rock, folk, jazz, and pop. Intelligent original songs with no shortage of wit connect lush musical textures and soaring vocals with the blazing six-string electric violin of Valerie Vigoda, the lightning-fingered piano of Brendan Milburn, and the joyful drums of Gene Lewin. With backgrounds in classical music, musical theater, jazz, and rock, the three members of GrooveLily are making a new music that's all their own.

Kyle Jarrow (writer of Love Sucks, NYMF '07), director Travis Chamberlain, Libby Winters, Perry Silver, and Jimmy Owens

New York City rockers The Fabulous Entourage serve up an irrepressible blend of throbbing dance beats, jagged guitars, driving synths, and lush Motown-inspired vocal arrangements - overflowing with the insatiable desire to party. In addition to concocting ass-kicking pop music, The Fabulous Entourage are known for their raucous live shows, inviting comparisons to Devo, Scissor Sisters, and The B-52s.

 
Lauren Pritchard
Lauren Pritchard (Rock/Pop)

Lauren Pritchard is originally from the small town of Jackson, Tennessee and at a young age knew that she wanted to spend her life singing and writing. Some of Lauren’s influences are Aretha Franklin, Howard Tate, Billy Joel, and Carole King.Lauren is currently writing and recording new material for her debut album which will be out at the end of the year.

 
Kacie Sheik
Kacie Sheik (Pop/Rock)

Originally from New Jersey, Kacie is the younger sister of Grammy-nominated and Tony-winning recording artist Duncan Sheik. She attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia at 16 years old. As a freshman she studied voice, music and acting before hitting the road for a year with a touring production. After seeing the country, the young songstress relocated to New York City which has been her home base for over five years.

Kacie continues to write and record as she prepares for her first release, determined to bring honesty to her music. Just wait, there will be no controlling it.
