Our Festival would not be possible without the commitment and generosity of our volunteers. They play an essential role in the NYMF ensemble, and we are so thankful for their time and talents.

— Dan Markley, Executive Director

During the course of the year, we present the Summer Festival and our Annual Gala, and we need your help to make each event a success.

Join us in achieving our mission of creating and nurturing new musical theater.

Volunteers, It's Time to Sign Up for 2018 New York Musical Festival Shifts!

We’ve got an incredible lineup of new musicals this year, and we need your help to make this festival a raging success. Previously, we limited the number of shifts you could sign up for, but now we’re upping the perks;

1) There is no limit to the number of shifts you can sign up for, so if you want to see every single show in our festival, you can!

2) The volunteer who signs up for and attends the most shifts will be invited to our Closing Night Ceremony and receive a prize from our NYMF team!

Before you dive in, check out the job descriptions below so that you can customize your volunteer experience:

In this position, you’ll greet and direct audience members, help them find Will Call and the restrooms, as well as manage the General Admission and Priority Seating lines. Other front of house tasks, including but not limited to program disbursement, may be assigned at the will of the House Manager. Once everyone is seated, you’ll see the show as well!
