Best friends since diapers, Simon and Mike hit turbulence when personal epiphanies promise to change their relationship forever. As the newly-engaged Mike faces new responsibilities, Simon endures an awkward blind date and a string of therapy sessions before experiencing a revelation of his own. A musical comedy about friendship and discovery, Crazy, Just Like Me shows just how crazy love can be.

Andrew Kober is thrilled to return to NYMF after appearing in last year's Most Likely to Die and If It Only Even Runs a Minute. Previous credits include the original Shakespeare in the Park, Broadway, and West End revival casts of Hair (2009 Tony Award for Best Revival), and the First National Tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, as well as many readings, workshops, and concerts around New York City. He has also performed his solo show, Koberet, to sold-out crowds at Joe's Pub, (le) Poisson Rouge, and Feinstein's. Andy Mientus is thrilled to return to NYMF after starring in last year's SHINE! (Outstanding Individual Performance Award) and Academy in Daegu, South Korea. Other credits include Spring Awakening (Original Touring Company, dir. Michael Mayer), Rent (Mark, Pioneer Theatre Company), February House (NYSF), and many NYC workshops including new work for Roundabout, MCC, the McCarter, and "Peter" in Bare. Lexie Papedo is delighted to be a part of the cast of Crazy, Just Like Me! She was recently a part of the ensemble of American Conservatory Theater's World Premiere of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City. Papedo was also recently seen in Songs of the Dragons Flying to Heaven as White Person 1 at Crowded Fire Theatre Company and in In The Wound and Of The Earth (The Salt Plays) as Penelope with Shotgun Players in San Francisco. Other regional credits include Mira in Brendon Simon's Torch, Shirley in Lady Be Good, Dora Bailey in Singing in the Rain, Erzulie in Once On This Island, Dionne in Hair, and Susan Dickenson in Wild Nights With Emily. Papedo is a graduate of UCLA's World Arts and Cultures Department with an emphasis on Acting and Playwriting, and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
Mike Russo is so excited to be a part of Crazy, Just Like Me. Mike was most recently seen Off-Broadway in My Big Gay Italian Wedding after doing the Broadway National Tour of Grease. A graduate of Baldwin Wallace Conservatory with a B.M. in Music Theatre, Mike would like to thank Nicolosi and Co., his family, his gurls, his pup, and all of the CJLM team.
Louis Sacco's composing/lyricist credits include lyrics to the Pfizer Musical - Above My Pay Grade with music by Drew Gasparini. Louis also wrote a new musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol and his new musical score about searching for Christmas traditions in a blended family, called The Night Before Christmas, which was recently produced at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center in Southern California.
Louis was an adjunct vocal instructor at the Antelope Valley College in Southern California and currently teaches privately in Manhattan.
Louis holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory of Music.
Drew Gasparini is a recipient of the John Lennon Songwriting Award (2006) and has played gigs all over the country sharing the stage as a singer/songwriter with acts such as Jason Mraz, Third Eye Blind, and the Plain White T's. He has recorded 3 albums (available on iTunes). In 2007, Drew composed his first musical, "Crazy, Just Like Me" (2009 San Francisco Theatre Festival, 2009 NAMT Showcase, 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival), which has gone on to open regionally across the country and soon, thanks to NYMF, in New York City!
His other works include: his second musical, "Circles," "Above My Pay Grade" a corporate musical commissioned by Holt Learning (Book by Louis Sacco), "The Up Down" a song cycle featuring Drew's pop music. He has also contributed to many other projects such as Broadway in South Africa, for which he was commissioned to write music and lyrics for their annual gala at the Manhattan Center, and MAC Award-winning Cait Doyle's Hot Mess In Manhattan for which he wrote "The Text Message Song."
Drew has twice been the featured composer for the New York Theater Barn, Seattle's New Voices, Unbound Productions, and Emerson University, and has been a featured writer for The National Alliance for Musical Theater's (NAMT) 2009 songwriter's showcase at New World Stages. In January 2011, Drew was featured alongside Joe Iconis in a series at 92YTribeca called "Behind the Musical," which was hosted and moderated by Stephen Flaherty. In April 2011, Drew was the composer for Scott Alan's Monday Night New Voices at The Duplex. Drew has taught master classes at Emerson University in Boston.
His music has been performed all over the country and in many famous NYC venues including sold out concerts of The Music & Lyrics of Drew Gasparini at Le Poisson Rouge, The Laurie Beechman, and Joe's Pub.
Drew is a proud member of ASCAP, and is part of the BMI/Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop for composers and lyricists. His sheet music can be found at www.NewMusicalTheatre.com, a website that caters to new emerging artists who are looking for good contemporary theatre music.

Stephen Agosto is a native of Southern California and a graduate of the prestigious Orange County High School of the Arts. After attending The Theater School at DePaul University, Stephen went on to tour and perform regionally in such shows as Godspell (Jesus), Beauty and the Beast (Lefou), The Who's Tommy (Tommy), Of Mice and Men (George), and Leading Ladies (Butch). He later enrolled at The Neighborhood Playhouse where he was the recipient of the 2007 Matt McCoy Scholarship. There, Stephen trained with such renowned instructors as Ron Stetson, Gary Kingston, and Richard Pinter. Since graduation, Stephen has continued performing (A Contemporary American's Guide to a Successful Marriage c.1959, Soho Playhouse), directing (Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Fordham University), choreographing (Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, 2009), recording voice overs and teaching (Papermill Playhouse, Millburn, NJ). Stephen is a proud member of the Actor's Equity Association.

Jennifer is happy to be making her NYC debut with CJLM. Julian is a sound designer and music producer with an ear for unusual sounds. Theatrical sound design credits include Mad Honey (Unseam'd Shakespeare Company), King o' the Moon (Alton Little Theater), and #nyc (Ugly Rhino Productions). Cinematic sound design credits include The Mercury Men (Syfy Network), Privacy (Hard Headed Films), and It Came From Yesterday (Clear Conscience Pictures). Julian also served as musical director for original productions of West Side Story and Cry-Baby: The Musical at Carnegie Melon University, where he earned his BA in Music Production. Brittany has ASMed on Dinner With Friends (Westport Country Playhouse) and Whore (Summer Play Festival) in addition to several workshops and corporate events. She graduated with a BFA from Adelphi University in 2010.
Max Friedman is thrilled to be continuing his seemingly never-ending love affair with NYMF as a part of 2 more full productions in this season's festival. In addition to Crazy, Just Like Me, he is also currently working as an assistant on Kiki Baby. Max previously worked on Nighttime Traffic and V-Day in 2010, and Open The Dark Door in 2009. He also spent a glorious spring working in the NYMF offices as a Literary Intern, and worked on numerous NYMF concerts and galas. His work outside of NYMF has included many installments of the If It Only Runs A Minute concert series, the 2011 Broadway Recycled concert at Joe's Pub, a staged concert of Knickerbocker Holiday at Lincoln Center, and a handful of concerts with the Joe Iconis Musical Theater Family. He is very thankful that his experiences have led him back to NYMF for what promises to be another extraordinary season!

Drew Gasparini may make his full-time career as a pop singer and songwriter, but judging by his entry in this year's New York Musical Theatre Festival, it's clear he can branch out any time he chooses.
