The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) is delighted to announce its dates for the 2016 Festival.
The Festival will launch with the Developmental Reading Series on July 11, with productions from the Next Link Project and Invited artists, concerts and events beginning on July 18. The Festival will then run until August 7 2016, encompassing four weeks of new musical performances in the heart of the city.
All venues will be in Midtown Manhattan, with further details to follow shortly.
2016 marks the 13th year of the Festival and audiences can expect another exciting array of eclectic new musicals, readings and concerts to wet their Musical Theater appetites. The 2016 Festival will showcase the vibrancy and diversity of new musicals in 2016, taking audience members to Berlin and Alaska and Neverland; into the worlds of Edgar Allan Poe, competitive Scrabble, and the Dust Bowl; with music that ranges from folk to 60s pop to gospel to rock.
