Goodbye former life and hello open road!
Interstate is an Asian-American pop-rock poetry musical about Dash, a transgender spoken word performer and his best friend Adrian, a lesbian singer-songwriter. Together, they are Queer Malady, an internet-famous activist band on their first road trip across America. Their political and personal music inspires Henry, a transgender teenage vlogger living in small-town middle America, to set out on a quest to meet his heroes in person, hoping to find answers to his struggles.
