In the future, there's nowhere to hide from your past.

In this wicked retelling of the classic novel by H.G. Wells, a troubled inventor discovers a modern dystopia where machines are nonexistent and love is forbidden. Extraordinary events force him to venture underground where he must face the demons that control his future.

David Mauk (Book, Music, Lyrics)

David Mauk (Book, Music, Lyrics) composed the exhibit music for the international blockbuster National Geographic KING TUT, CLEOPATRA, and REAL PIRATES museum tours. David has released two critically acclaimed instrumental CD's – 12 MONTHS and GROUND SWELL. GROUND SWELL was number one in the world on the NZR radio charts and has been featured regularly on XM/Sirius, Music Choice, and Muzak channels. David has been a Las Vegas singing piano entertainer for thirteen years.

Brenda Mandabach (Book)

Brenda Mandabach (Book) is an Actor/Vocalist in Las Vegas. She started her professional career with the Cleveland Opera, and then worked in several other theaters in Northeast Ohio and Los Angeles. Brenda has most recently been seen in productions at UNLV and has been performing in cabarets and showcases across Las Vegas. She was the featured vocalist in the background exhibit music for the National Geographic KING TUT, CLEOPATRA, and REAL PIRATES museum tours.

Justin Baldridge

Justin Baldridge (Director)

Justin made his NYC directorial debut with the Off-Broadway musical A DOG STORY. THE TIME MACHINE is his first NYMF production. Directing credits include THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, CABARET, GREASE, HOW TO SUCCEED…, ANYTHING GOES, BULL, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, MACBETH, THE DIVINERS, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, and TWELVE ANGRY JURORS. He relocated to Manhattan from California a year ago where he worked in Educational Theatre for 10 years. Training: CSU Fullerton and Roosevelt University, Chicago. 

Kristen Lee Rosenfeld (Musical Director)

Kristen Lee Rosenfeld is an NYC-based Music Director/Composer. Her music direction credits include the First National Tour of SPRING AWAKENING and BAND OF ANGELS with collaborator, Colman Domingo. As a Composer, Kristen collaborates with her mother, Luanne. Their show, DIVIDED, was recently presented in concert to a sold-out house at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Their other full-length musical, CARDBOARD CASTLES, is currently in development as a feature film by Rubic House.

Jim Cooney (Choreographer)

Select Credits: Sweet Charity (Michael Rupert, director), Broadway Bares (Jerry Mitchell, director), ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (featuring Kristin Chenoweth), Tableaux (Holland America Line), and Nothing But Trash (Theater for the New City). Vanessa Leuck (Costume Design)

Lauren Mills (Scenic Design)

Lauren is a New York City based scenic designer working in theatre and television. Selected credits include: A Dog Story (Davenport Loft – Off Broadway), Dot (Detroit Public Theatre), My Fair Lady, True Love (Sharon Playhouse). Television: The TODAY Show and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Member – United Scenic Artists USA 829. MFA – Carnegie Mellon University.

Patrick LaChance (Sound Design)

Also designing I Am, I Will, I Do (NYMF). Credits include: Lonely, I'm Not (West of 10th), The Winter's Tale (Amerinda), Macbeth and [gay] Cymbeline (Theatre Prometheus), Okay and The Coming World (Williamstown Theatre Festival), The Fantasticks (Cider Mill Playhouse).

Jamie Roderick (Lighting Design)

Off-Broadway: The Woodsman, Afterglow, A Dog Story, That Bachelorette Show, Seeing You. Regional: The Bikinis!, R&J, Macbeth, Hamlet, Billy Eliot and more. Recent: The Bad Years, More Than All The World. Resident Lighting Designer: Broken Box Mime Theatre.

Don Cieslik (Projection Design)

A recent New York transplant, Don was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where he served as the Sound and Video designer for the UTEP Dinner Theatre. Recent credits include The Band's Visit (Off-Broadway), Rap Guide to Consciousness (Off-Broadway Assoc.)

Adele Rylands (Fight Director)

A New York City native, Adele is a full-time fight director, theatre technician, and business owner. BFA in Directing and Original Work from New York University as proud alum of Playwrights Horizons Theater School. Enjoy the show.

Randal Keith (Professor Dash)

Randal is best known as Jean Valjean in LES MISERABLES on Broadway, the National Tour, and internationally with over 3000 performances. He has played The Phantom in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. In Vegas, he played Sir Bedevere and eventually, King Arthur, in SPAMALOT, and starred in Steve Wynn’s SHOWSTOPPERS. Randal performs in a show/concert called THE PHAT PACK and has just debuted his solo show, THE MUSIC OF ROBERT GOULET, and BROADWAY AND BEYOND.

Doug Chitel (Dean)

Doug played another 1900s figure (Houdini) in Gallery Players' "Ragtime" this Spring. Other recent credits include John Adams in "1776" and a principal in a 2016 NY Fringe fave and "Closer Than You Think", an original musical at the Sheen Center.

Michael Hunsaker (Thomas)

Michael has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and all over the U.S. BFA in Music Theatre (Florida State University). MFA in Film Production (Full Sail University). Michael has written several musicals including Measure for Measure, Out of Frame and Fetching Water.

Barbara McCulloh (Mrs. Watchett)
