ARE YOU READY? Rob still is.

The award-winning composer of the Off-Broadway hit The Lightning Thief brings his brand of smart musical theater rock to NYMF for two special concerts only! Featuring special guest artists and Broadway friends, this will be a night to celebrate new projects, songs from Rokicki's upcoming album, Monstersongs, as well as old favorites.

Rob Rokicki (Book, Music, Lyrics)

ROB ROKICKI is an award-winning songwriter, performer and music director. He is member of the Dramatists Guild and alum of the Tony Award-winning BMI workshop. Rob wrote the music and lyrics to the Lortel nominated Off-Broadway musical, The Lightning Thief (book Joe Tracz), returning in 2017. He co-authored (with Michael Ruby) two award-winning musicals: Love, NY and Strange Tails. Randy Redd

Randy Redd (Director)

RANDY REDD made his Broadway debut in PARADE. Other credits include MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, RING OF FIRE, ALLEGRO, Alain Boublil’s MANHATTAN PARISIENNE, PUMP BOYS & DINETTES, THE BURNT PART BOYS, Terrence McNally's SOME MEN and NY1's Show Biz After Hours with Frank DiLella. Original works include MISSISSIPPI SUGAR, TOUCHÉ, HUMAN VOICES with James Lecesne, WHAT’S THAT SMELL: THE MUSIC OF JACOB STERLING (Atlantic Theatre Company), AWFUL/GOOD, and “With You” (recorded by Ronan Keating). Credits as a director include SWING WINGS, FICTION IN PHOTOGRAPHS (New World Stages), NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD, EXTRAORDINARY JOE (Abrons Arts Center) and numerous concerts and special events.

EMMA KATZ is an arts entrepreneur, consultant, and producer. She has served as the founding Development Director for the Indy theater festival, FRIGID New York, a board member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Gilbert & Sullivan Players, and was named one of ArtInfo’s 30 Under 30 Influential Arts Professionals for founding the affordable art gallery Recession Art. Today her clients include Trestle Gallery, Hazel Village Toy Company, New Amsterdam Presents and more.

AMANDA FLYNN is a professional actress, singer, musical theatre educator, and voice teacher. As a performer, she was an original cast member of the LA company of Wicked understudying the role of Glinda. She was also part of the Las Vegas company of Mamma Mia as an understudy for Sophie, and the Laurey understudy in the national tour of the last Broadway revival of Oklahoma. EMMA GANNON-SALOMON is thrilled to be performing with Rob Rokicki again!! After graduating from CAP21 Emma was chosen to sing at the Town Hall with Broadway Rising Stars, which led her to be a part of the Broadway by the Year Chorus performing songs from Chess and Children of Eden at 54 Below. She's excited to also be a part of Rob's upcoming album of his original Monster Songs. Many thanks for including me in all of this!

DANIEL MERTZLUFFT’s work as a composer, orchestrator, and arranger has been performed around the world; most notably with the Transcendence Theatre Company in Sonoma, CA and recently with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Original Shows include The Letter, Tying The Knot, and A Family Christmas. He also frequently serves as a Music Director, including: When You Believe (Jubilus Choir), Oh, What a Night!
