What sets you apart makes you spectacular

Today, when the ultimate goal is to fit in, it’s difficult to embrace the traits that set us apart. NYMF's Student Leadership Program invites you to OUTLIERS, a concert that celebrates what’s brilliant and bold, hilarious and even heartbreaking, in what makes us unique. OUTLIERS is a night of original musical theater works that express the perspectives of those who break the mold.

Eddie Layfield (Sam)

EDDIE LAYFIELD is excited to be a part of the NYMF. He was most recently aboard The Celebrity Infinity as a Production Vocalist. Other credits include Urientown (Bobby Strong), Ragtime (Younger Brother), Spring Awakening (Melchior Gabor).Agraduate of Point Park University, he would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support. "It's a marathon, not a sprint."

 



Amanda Lopez (Rose)

AMANDA LOPEZ is ecstatic to return to NYMF after participating in Joey Contreras in Concert last year. Favorite credits include: Norma in Carrie (Speakeasy Stage Company), Alice in Disney's On The Record! (The Boston Conservatory), and Sheila in Hair (Area Stage Company). Thanks to the creative team on Outliers - Katherine, Louis, David, Jordyn, Ashley, and Joel - for giving me this opportunity to create new work with really cool people. Proud graduate of The Boston Conservatory.

 



Lucy Moon (Kate)

LUCY MOON (Kate) Lucy is so excited to be a part of the 2016 NYMF with SLP’s ‘Outliers’! She recently graduated in April with her BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts. Favorite credits include: Into the Woods (Witch), The 25th Annual…Spelling Bee (Schwartzy), Little Women (Jo March), HAIR (Sheila Franklin), and Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad) for which she won the 2011 Connecticut HS Musical Theatre Award for Best Actress and was a 2011 Jimmy Award nominee.

 



Naree Ketudat (Sara)

NAREE KETUDAT (Sara) is thrilled to be part of NYMF this year! She is approaching her senior year at NYU Steinhardt, studying Vocal Performance/Music Theatre. Most recent credits include Hairspray, Merrily We Roll Along and Beatsville, a new staged musical by Glenn Slater and Wendy Leigh Wilf. She has performed works all over the city including at Joe’s Pub and Playwrights Horizons. Naree is incredibly grateful for the entire SLP team (especially Katherine), and her parents!

William Bellamy (Chris)

WILLIAM BELLAMY (Chris)  is thrilled to be working with NYMF SLP again after a wonderful experience in 2012 working on Part of It All under the direction of Hunter Bird. Favorite credits include Larry, A Chorus Line (Dir. Baayork Lee) and Widow Douglas in Big River (Lake Dillon Theatre Company). Pace University MT Class of 2016. Proud member of AEA. Big thanks to Katherine and the entire Outliers team!



Olivia Renaud (Elliot)

OLIVIA RENAUD (Elliot) is thrilled to be making her NYMF debut in the production of Outliers. Favorite roles include Eponine in Les Mis and Fiona in Shrek the Musical. She is currently attending CAP21's Professional Conservatory Program. Big Thanks to CAP21 family, voice teachers, and everyone else who has helped along the way!!

 



Kennebrew Taylor (Ensemble)

KENNEBREW TAYLOR is a native New Yorker and recent Pace University graduate. Favorite credits include Bernarda Alba directed by Graciela Daniele, Spring Awakening, and doubling as Lil Inez and a Dynamite in Hairspray. She is excited to be making her NYMF debut. Thanks to her parents and friends!

 



Robert Lee Poole III (Ensemble)

ROBERT LEE POOLE Other NYC credits include Hairspray (Seaweed), From Russia With Love (Midtown International Theatre Festival), and the upcoming Ragtime on Ellis Island. Graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. in Engineering. Thanks to this stellar cast and creative team for putting together such an innovative new work and to the friends and family for their support. For Ladidi.



Alexander Saunders (Ensemble)

ALEXANDER SANDERS (Ensemble) just graduated from Pace University with a BFA in Musical Theater! He is so happy to be able to spend part of his summer working with the incredible cast and creative team for Outliers. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support and love! Enjoy the show and thank you for supporting new works!

 



Nicolette Shin (Ensemble)

NICOLETTE SHIN is currently studying Musical Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College.  Previous roles include the Mad Hatter in Wonderland(MMC), Sour Kangaroo in Seussical(NCT), and Bloody Mary in South Pacific(MMC).  Thank you to my family and friends for all they do.

 



Christina Hart (Ensemble)

CHRISTINA HART is currently attending Marymount Manhattan College where she is studying musical theatre. Originally from Michigan, Christina's love of theatre began at an early age. Previous roles include Anita in West Side story, Ensemble 1 in The Cable Car Nymphomaniac, and in the fall she will be taking on the role of Mrs. Antrobus in The Skin of Our Teeth. Thanks to friends, family, and teachers for the continuing support!

 



Katherine R. Wilkins (Director)

KATHERINE R. WILKINS recently graduated Pace University with a degree in Directing and a minor in Dance. She specializes in directing new and reimagined contemporary musicals across the city including- ELISE (Planet Connections- Best Direction, Best Musical), RUNAWAYS, and PRIVILEGE. Joel Ostdiek (Producer)

JOEL OSTDIEK (Producer)  is a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he studied Theatre and Economics. He is thrilled to be working with this talented cast and creative team. Festivals: Uganda’s Writivism Festival (Showcase Producer). Select university credits: Thoroughly Modern Millie, How to Succeed in Business…, Into the Woods, Ordinary Days. Joel is an incoming Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Thanks to his friends and family for their support!



Louis Lagalante (Musical Director)

LOUIS LAGALANTE is a composer and music director, with additional training in classical voice. Since graduating from Stanford in 2015 with a degree in music and psychology, he splits his time between California and New York, living his dream of making music for a living. Outliers marks his New York debut as a music director, and he couldn't be more thankful for the love and support of the wonderful team behind this show.



Jordyn Boscia (Stage Manager)

JORDYN BOSCIA is a rising Sophomore from Marymount Manhattan College, majoring in Theater Arts Producing and Management. This is her NYMF debut and is thrilled to be apart of this creative team. Some NY stage management credits include Lovely Send Anywhere (the cell theatre), Nightclub Cantata (The York Theatre), Wonderland (The York Theatre), Vote For Me (Roy Arias IV). Thank you to her family and boyfriend for their endless support and consistent motivation.

 



Ashley Lachant (Marketing Director)

ASHLEY LACHANT Emerson College ‘17. With past experience at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity and New York Theatre Workshop, Ashley is beyond thrilled to be a part of the NYMF family, and above all, create this brilliant piece of theatre with such a spectacular team. David Gretchko (Casting Director)

DAVID GRETCHKO is thrilled to be a part of the NYMF SLP team. He is a currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and BS in Business Management. He became interested in casting while interning last summer at Mosser Casting in Pittsburgh. David also enjoys performing, hanging out with friends, cooking, and Pure Barre. David would like to thank Mom, Dad, Ben, MT 17, and this whole amazing SLP team for the incredible teamwork and inspiration.
