CLAUDIO QUEST is a new musical comedy that follows a very super hero, his less super little brother, and one butt-kicking princess, as the three embark on a mission to overcome killer eggplants, a love-starved platypus, and their own 8-bit existential crisis.

Running Time: 1 hour and 40 minutes, plus one intermission.

Lesley McKinnell (Princess Poinsettia)

Lesley’s video game experiences involve some version of Mario Kart, in which she definitely chose Princess Peach every time. She also assuredly lost every time, as well. Past professional experiences, besides video game characters, include playing witches, a burlesque performer, fairytale muses, a sexless virgin, and a non-drag version of Barbra Streisand. Among others.

John Tartaglia earned a Tony Award nomination for his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q. Other Broadway: Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere); Shrek The Musical (Pinocchio). The Puppet Kitchen is a NYC based full-service puppetry studio. Gary Adler (Musical Director)

Gary hails from the Detroit suburbs and attended the University of Michigan, where he studied Music Composition with William Bolcom and accompanying with Martin Katz. He has been a working theater musician in New York City for over 20 years. As a pianist and conductor, his credits include Avenue Q, Kinky Boots, Next to Normal, Urinetown, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. As a writer, Gary wrote both music and lyrics for the long-running off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz for which he received two Drama Desk nominations. Other writing credits include Disney Channel’s “Johnny and the Sprites” and a number of contributions to the “Carols for a Cure” album series.
