THE CALICO BUFFALO is a compelling theatrical experience. From the first musical moment, Grammy Award-winning composer Peter Stopschinski lets us know we are in for one wonder-filled ride.

EJ is a writer-illustrator who has written works for both theater and film as well as books for children. THE CALICO BUFFALO, A MUSICAL is inspired by his first children's book, The Calico Buffalo. EJ is a proud member of Actors Equity and The Authors Guild.

Peter Stopschinski

Peter Stopschinski (Music/Lyrics)

Peter Stopschinski composed and recorded string arrangements and organ on Grupo Fantasma’s Grammy Award winning album La Existential and works extensively in theater, dance, film, and concert music. His operas and musicals have been performed at La Mama, Playwrights Horizons, The Kirk Douglas Theater and Arena Stage. Peter's opera (librettist Kirk Lynn) about famed Houston Oilers coach Bum Phillips premiered at La Mama this year. "...even Rigoletto would have to doff his cap." NY Times.

Casey Erin Clark

Casey Erin Clark (Amaruq)

Casey Erin Clark is thrilled to be on the NYMF playground for the 3rd time (The Hatpin, The Incredibly Deaf Musical). NYC/tours: Les Mis (Factory Girl/us Fantine), Frankenstein (Agatha, original cast album) Shout! the mod musical (Red Girl), many readings and concerts. Regional favorites: Sound of Music (Maria) and Little Women (Jo, Kevin Kline Award Nominee). Developing new musicals is her FAVORITE! Album The Song Begins on iTunes. Always for family and Chris.

Rachel Coloff

Rachel Coloff (Sih-Kuk)

Rachel Coloff was recently seen in the Off-Broadway production of Old Jews Telling Jokes. Other Off-B'way favorites include Das Barbecu, and Urinetown. Regional: Yente in Fiddler on the Roof at Fulton Opera and Barrington Stage, Golde in Fiddler at The Human Race, and Celeste I in Sunday in the Park with George at Seattle Rep. Broadway: Lestat, The Baroness in Candide, Rivka/FrumaSarah in Fiddler, SoupySue in Urinetown, and eleven Encores! productions.

Jody Cook

Jody Cook (Thorn)

So happy to continue on this CALICO BUFFALO journey! As a cabaret artist, Jody has performed at Don’t Tell Mama, HA!, The Duplex, and the Algonquin Room, recently debuting his newest one man show, 37 Stories In Which I Come Off Badly. Other NY productions include Silk Stockings, Ernest in Love, Three Wishes for Jamie, God's Country, A Tuna Christmas, Mr. President!, Boss in the Satin Kimono, and his solo show Husky Jeans at the J.C. Penney.

Remy Germinario

Remy Germinario (Bittle)

Remy Germinario can currently be seen as Ross in the new web-series, An Actor Unprepared, and was last seen onstage at FringeNYC playing the title role in Bradley Cole for which he won the Fringe Overall Excellence Award. Tours: Bunnicula. Regional/NY Theatre: Hairspray, The Fantasticks, Little Shop of Horrors, Two Gentlemen of Verona. Film: Stephen in The Feast of Stephen, directed by James Franco. NYU Grad. Katie Johannigman

Katie is thrilled to be a part of CALICO BUFFALO! Some favorite shows include: National Tour of Oliver!, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Pirates! (MUNY), Peggy Sawyer in 42nd St (Modesto Playhouse), Clara in The Light in the Piazza (Lincolnshire Marriott), Cats, Chicago (West Virginia Public). Recent graduate of CCM, where her favorite roles included Cinderella in Into the Woods and Petra in A Little Night Music. Thank you to TKO, Craig, Mom, Dad and Reenie!

Megan Kane

Megan Kane is thrilled to be a part of THE CALICO BUFFALO. Recently seen as Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes (Brickhouse Theatre), Sarah in God’s Country (NYMF 2013-Signature Theatre), starred in productions and NYC workshop of Gay Bride of Frankenstein (Seacoast Repertory Theatre/Joe’s Pub) Regional: Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray (The Arvada Center),as Junie B. in Junie B. Jones (National Tour, Theatreworks), A Little Night Music (Houston Grand Opera). Megan is a graduate of Webster Conservatory.

James LaRosa

James LaRosa (Ensemble)

Winner of the Austin Circle of Theatres Award for Outstanding Featured Actor. Currently: NYMF's Mr. Confidential (Michael/Malone). Off B'way: My Big Gay Italian Funeral (Anthony). Select theatre: RENT (Mark), Next to Normal (Henry), Altar Boyz (Abraham), Singin' in the Rain (Cosmo), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Ben), and H.M.S. Pinafore at NY City Center. VO: Grand Theft Auto V. Charlie Levy

Charlie Levy (Bora-Boh)

Charlie is happily returning to NYMF after performing last summer in God's Country. A student at the Jen Waldman Studio and an AMDA graduate. He's sung for symphonies abroad, appeared at 54 Below and is constantly workshopping new works all over New York. A grateful AEA member. Theatre: Les Misérables (Enjolras), Ragtime (Younger Brother), Call Me Madam (Kenneth), Sweeney Todd (Tobias), The Fantasticks (Matt). This is for Mom, Dad, and JWS.

Rob Lorey

Rob Lorey (Garralup)

Rob is delighted to continue his association with THE CALICO BUFALO. Broadway/National Tour credits include Beauty and the Beast, Showboat, King and I, Chess, Aspects of Love, Phantom of the Opera. He has performed from coast to coast in the US, and sings with symphony and pop orchestras around the globe- most recently in the ABBA team’s Kristina (at Carnegie and Albert Halls). He can be heard on several Disney soundtracks.

Anthea Neri

Anthea Neri (The Ancient)

Anthea is a pop/rock recording artist signed with StevenHeroProductions, a Human empowerment ambassador, and AEA member. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and has worked with everyone from David Byrne, Fatboy Slim, to Tony award winning director Alex Timbers, Broadway legend Baayork Lee and has also recorded with other numerous Emmy/Grammy award winning producers. Anthea is currently writing her debut EP with BxB Studios for a 2014 release.

Nathan Andrew Riley is excited to be a part of NYMF and THE CALICO BUFFALO. As a California native, you can catch him chasing a street rat in Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at Disney's California Adventure. Favorite credits: How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (Palm Springs, Papa Who u/s); A Midsummer Nights Dream: The Musical (Flute); Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings (Smudge); Man of La Mancha (Muleteeer); Hairspray! (Seaweed J. Patrick Shelton

Patrick Shelton (The Chief)

Patrick Shelton is thrilled to be a part of THE CALICO BUFFALO! Regional: Rent, Hairspray: In Concert, Aida, and The Who’s Tommy. He graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Proud member of AEA. For my family and my beautiful fiancée, Michelle.

Kevin Sims

Kevin Sims (Ensemble)

A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Kevin has been working in New York for the past five years. He spent a year on tour with Disney's The Lion King, has trained with The Second City in Toronto and Chicago, and has been workshopping the works of Shakespeare with Tale Told Productions. He is currently training with The William Esper Studio. To my darling wife, Amy, the reason for doing all of this hard work.

Off-Broadway: Taming of the Shrew: Extreme (The Duke on 42nd Street) and over a dozen world premieres, including: Titus: A Grand and Gory Rock Musical (Cleveland Public Theatre), God's Country and Lighter (NYMF), The Aperture (FringeNYC), Cursing Macbeth (Harold Clurman Theater). Regional: Measure for Measure, Standing on Ceremony (Cleveland Public Theatre) Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, Taming of the Shrew (Hamptons Shakespeare Festival). MFA from UC Irvine and member of AEA and SDC.

Gabriel Folse (Reader - Stage Direction & Transitions)

Gabriel Folse’s writing experience includes feature films, short films, a one act play, and a novel. In 2009, he wrote, directed, and produced the independent, award winning feature film, Guilty. In 2011, he produced the independent film, The Bystander Theory, starring Brad Leland (Friday Night Lights). It is currently available for rental on pay-per-view in North America. Gabriel began collaborating with EJ Stapleton on, THE CALICO BUFFALO in May of 2005.

Larry Smiglewski (Stage Manager)

Larry Smiglewski is currently the Production Stage Manager for Sex Tips For Straight Women From a Gay Man Off Broadway. Broadway: Company (SDCF Observer). Additional SM Credits include the Regional Premiere of Avenue Q, Compania de Columbari's recent tour of Everything That Rises Must Converge, and countless regional productions. Education: BA - Theatre, Marymount Manhattan College, MFA - Directing, University of Houston. Love to Nettie and Smigs. @LarrySmigs
