ZAPATA! The Musical (2012)

An Occupy Wall Streeter learns how to fight for the 99%.

Book by Peter and Ana Edwards
Music and Lyrics by Peter Edwards
Directed by Elizabeth Lucas

ZAPATA! THE MUSICAL tells the story of Emiliano Zapata, hero of the Mexican revolution, who appears in the 21st century to show a idealistic but confused member of "Occupy Wall Street" the proper way to fight for a better world. A magnificent love story set against the cinematic backdrop of revolution. Not since Steinbeck's VIVA ZAPATA! has there been a story so moving, so appropriate for all times. Rock meets mariachi, a musical combination never seen before on the Great White Way. - The most timely event of the year. . . Could be the next LES MIZ. . .Sarah Vorhees, NBC TV -

Since that day, Peter has dedicated himself to writing and promoting a musical about his favorite human who ever walked the planet (after Jesus and Buddha), Emiliano Zapata, and trading hedge fund selloffs of Apple's highly manipulated stock.
