In its fourth year of accepting open submissions, The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has once again received hundreds of musical scripts as varied in styles as they are in origins. The staff is anticipating a diffcult three months as they read through all the shows to develop the final list of shows for the Next Link Program for the 2007 Festival.

Previous NYMF shows such as Altar Boyz, [title of show], The Big Voice: God or Merman, and Gutenberg! The Musical! have continued on to successful off-Broadway runs. The 2007 New York Musical Theatre Festival will run from September 17 through October 7.
