The Winner of the TAM prize, Sherlock Holmes will perform a number from their show led by Individual Excellence Award Winner Laura Shoop (Fiddler on the Roof).  Written by Kate Ferguson with Robert Hudson (book), Susannah Pearse (lyrics) and Jared M. Dembowski (music), the show was chosen as the NYMF entry that exemplifies the best characteristics of the traidional musical; with stand-alone songs that advance the story of the musical and are easily understood in performance--whatever the musical genre.

Additional performers and participants in this year's gala include Xanadu book writer Douglas Carter Beane, Tony award winners Spring Awakening director Michael Mayer, lead producer Tom Hulce and Tamara Tunie (Law and Order: SVU), Kelli O'Hara (The Light in the Piazza, The Pajama Game) Michael Zahler and Anna Noguiera of NYMF's The Boy in the Bathroom, and Sarah Jane Everman from NYMF's Unlock'd.

Honoring the NYMF Awards for Excellence Winners as well as a New Generation of Broadway producers, the 2007 NYMF Awards Gala will be held Sunday, November 4 at the Hudson Theatre.  To buy tickets, or for more information visit our Gala page.
