The musical is an impressionistic chronicle about a biracial Korean American boy with attention-deficit disorder that takes place on the day he decides to forgo his Ritalin, and marks the New York directorial debut of the Tony Award-winning actor. The Yellow Wood's book and lyrics are by Michelle Elliott, with music and lyrics by Danny Larsen.
