For one show only, top Broadway talent comes together to perform alongside Jeremy Schonfeld, one of today’s most sought after singer/songwriter talents. Highlights of the evening will include songs from forthcoming projects and previously unreleased originals, as well as from Schonfeld’s previously released albums Blue Skies and All and Drift (NYMF 2006) . The show takes place on Monday, October 1 at 8:00pm at ArsNova as part of the NYMF Concert Series.
In addition to Schonfeld, scheduled to perform are Julie Danao-Salkin (Lennon, Saturday Night Fever); Julie Foldesi (Little Women, The Full Monty); Rob Gallagher (Les Miz, Reefer Madness); and Amy Spanger (Kiss Me, Kate, Chicago).
Jeremy Schonfeld's singular blend of tuneful pop, hard-edged rock, gospel, soul and blues has drawn him comparisons to Billy Joel and Jonathan Larson in the New York Times. Smart and contemporary with intelligent lyrics, recent performances include Joe's Pub; BB King's; Lincoln Center; Symphony Space; The Zipper Theater; and as an opening act for James Taylor.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.nymf.org. Ars Nova is located at 511 54th Street at 10th Avenue in New York.
