Brantley Aufill (Director, Producer, Writer)
Brantley received his Bachelors in Drama from Ithaca College. His one-act play, A Play About Two Men, One Of Whom Does Not Understand, won Best New Play at the 1999 Kitchen Theater (Ithaca, NY) New Play Festival, and has been produced in New York and England, recently winning Best Production at the GMDF One Act Festival in Manchester. After a few years working in off-off-Bway and off-Bway theatre in NYC, he is currently a broadcast Producer with the advertising agency Publicis NY. He has produced commercials around the world, for clients including Proctor & Gamble, Maytag, and TBS. He recently won the First Boards Award for Agency Producer of the Year from 'Boards Magazine.
Monty Holamon (Writer, Composer, Lyricist)
Playwriting Credits: Paradise, The Year The Lake Turned Over, Fan Dance, and Ubu. Playwright–in-Residence 2 years at the Alley Theater, Houston. Recipient of the Rockefeller Playwriting Grant for Paradise. Equity Showcase for Fan Dance and The Year The Lake Turned Over at Alley Theater and Theater Center, Philadelphia. LA premiere of The Year The Lake Turned Over with Paradise, as a featured production for the 1984 Olympics Arts Festival. Founding Member of The Texas Playwrights Company. Toured 2 seasons with Ringling Brothers/Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Tony Mayes (Director, Producer, Writer, King Wenceslas, Mr. Achras)
BFA in Acting, Ithaca College. From actor to technician, as director and producer, he has professionally worked internationally for over 10 years. Currently working as the Production Manager for the American Tap Dance Foundation, and Associate Producer for their upcoming production of Sound Check Performance Series (in Tap Dance), Tony is 'stoked' to see UBU… come to life. Credits include: A Play About Two Men, One of Whom Does Not Understand, by Brantley Aufill; In A Manner Of Speaking, by Robin Rothstein; Executive Producer/Director Hamlet (The Hamlet-O-Thon); Producer, Pineapple Project. Tony is still acting, and is a tap dancer, last seen at Tap City, 2008: the New York City Tap Festival.
Robert Grusecki (Musical Director)
Broadway: Grand Hotel, The Madwoman Of Central Park West. Off-Broadway: Cut The Ribbons, A Bistro Car, Green Pond, The Portable Pioneer and Prairie Show, Grub Street Opera and projects for Manhattan Theatre Club, Soho Rep, York Theatre Company, Goodspeed Opera House, Huntington Stage, Portland Stage, John Drew, Kennedy Center, and the O’Neill Center. As a composer Robert has written two musicals with lyricist/librettist Anya Turner: Greetings From Yorkville produced this last Fall at the SoHo Playhouse and After All, a musical much ado presented at the York Theatre Company. Ayhan Sahin (Musical Arrangements)
Has worked with The Beu Sisters, Melba Moore, Phoebe Snow, Sezen Aksu, Sandra Bernhard, etc. His most recent project is an album for Karine Hannah singing Turkey's most-acclaimed female singer/songwriter, Sezen Aksu's songs. Michael Thomas Holmes (Pa Ubu)
Appeared as Ali Hakim in Oklahoma! (Broadway), toured with The Producers (also in the movie as Stormtrooper Rolf) and spent last summer at The Guthrie as John Adams in 1776. Michael received his MFA in acting from UC Irvine, where he learned how to yell real loud.
