This Could Be Love

A Comical Musical

<FONT size=4>Sweet and cynical, joyous and jaded: a love story.

He's a jingle writer; she's a full-time temp. Stood up and fed up, they decide to cheat fate and fall in loveÃâ€"whether they like each other or not. Sweet and cynical, joyous and jaded, this Canadian charmer is a love story for our times.

Quotes:

Dora Award Nomination for Outstanding Female Performance by Krista Sutton

What the critics had to say:

ìThe yearís best musical, far and away, was This Could Be Love. î
- Robert Cushman, National Post

4 stars (out of 4) ìÃâ€"a wittily contemporary musical with a charming period feel.î
- Kate Taylor, Globe and Mail

ìHigh Performance Musical ... adorably cute and relentlessly goofyÃâ€" [Krista] Sutton can out-sing, out-act, out-pratfall Renee Zellweger in her sleep. Her performance is musical theatre gold.î
- Kamal al-Solalyee, eye Weekly (now theatre critic for Globe and Mail)

ì[Writer Brock] Simpson's saying lots about intimacy, and his nuanced book touches on societal issues like urban alienation and selling your soul.î
- Glenn Sumi, NOW Magazine

ìÃâ€"a charm that is simultaneously wonderfully fresh and delightfully old-fashioned.î
- John Coulbourn, Toronto Sun
