Based on the real-life disappearance of Glen and Bessie Hyde, who vanished on their daredevil river-rafting honeymoon to the Grand Canyon in 1928, RIVERíS END weaves together two completely different versions of their journey, with two pairs of actors playing the Hydesóand two surprising theories of what might have happened to them.

Quotes:

"Rivers are powerful forces in human life, but they can be powerful forces in literature, too. A case in point is the role of the Colorado River in the probing, emtionally overflowing new musical River's End....a cannily conceived and fascinating show." -  Piedmont Post

"It's a small American opera, a rocky ride through the Grand Canyon, a suspense story well told and a love story well played....a rare entertainment treat for audiences." -  Pacific Sun

"Larkin's music is fluid and chromatic, supporting Cheryl Coons' book with suppleness, and occasionally breaking out into anthem-like exhuberance behind her lyrics. As an entertaining musical, it works, keeping cast and audience on their toes." -  Ken Bullock's on Stage

"Excellent...compelling....a real must-see." - The Ark
