Ricardo did his post graduate work at Harvard Business School and served as Vice-President for a major corporation in Mexico for several years. During the past 15 years he has lead the direction of the Thomas Jefferson Institute in search of developing new teaching methods and to identify the key skills students will need to become happy, successful and positive leaders in the year 2020. He is a visionary and Co-Founder of the Thomas Jefferson Institute and the Musical Theatre Company Foundation. He and Jeanene Bluhm have been happily married for over 40 years and have three children and 2 grandchildren.
She is the General Director of the Thomas Jefferson Institute in Mexico City, Mexico (K-12). She studied Education at Valparaiso University (Indiana) and received a MS degree from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). She has written editorials for a major newspaper in Mexico and is a recognized public speaker promoting holistic bilingual education to develop future leaders. Along with her husband, Jeanene co-founded the Thomas Jefferson Institute in 1978. Today the school has a total enrollment of nearly 4,000 students with campuses in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Queretaro, Mexico. “I started writing and directing theater since I was 6 years old. We lived on a farm in Illinois and I would write plays during the winter and rehearse with my cousins in the basement for our spring and harvest performances. Admission was 1 penny.”
Born in 1957 in Mexico City, his passion for the theatre started when he was just a kid and developed into a very successful professional career. He wrote his first play when he was 15 years old. During his years in high school he started the school theatre group and began his professional directing, writing and acting career. He performed as Joseph in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” (Mexico). Some of his works as an author are “Anjou” with Lupita Sandoval, “!Que Planton!”, “Los Infiernos” and “UH OH OH UH OH” with Marina del Campo and on his own “La Espada de Memoras” and “Cuentos Chidos” . During the past 9 years and to this day, he devotes his time to teaching Dramatic Arts at the Universidad Tecnologica de Monterrey (TEC) and is also a vocal teacher at CEA Infantil (Televisa acting school).

A woman that lives on and for the arts… She studied her degree in Dramatic Arts and Literature at the faculty of Philosophy at the UNAM in Mexico City. In 1974 she started her acting career performing in the musical “Godspell” (Mexico). Also starring in "West Side Story", "Grease", "Mame", "Barnum", "Houdini", "Malinche", etc. She is also a movie star and in 1985 she filmed “Mexicano tu Puedes” for which she was nominated for “La Diosa de Plata” (one of Mexico’s most important and prestigious awards). On the small screen she has acted in soap operas and the famous TV series “Cachun, Cachun, Ra Ra” as Petunia. In 1985 she wrote "Anjou" with Guillermo Mendez, a play that broke cultural boundaries, first in Calgary and now as part of NYMF 2009.

Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the TJMTC since 1987. He has directed and choreographed over 29 productions in Mexico and has taken several of them on national and international tours. Edgardo has also been recognized and praised in Mexico by the Journalists and Critics Theater Union, The Bravo Awards and The Quetzal Awards as an outstanding author and producer. He served as one of the judges on the weekly tv series “High School Musical: La Selección” and also directed the road show for its national and international tour. He has also been an Art Director for several TV productions and also serves as Director of Cellprod, a full-service/production company that specializes in corporate events (Pepsico, Disney Mexico, Frito-Lay, Purina, Unilever, Nestlé, etc.).

She started her theatre career in 1987 with the Thomas Jefferson Musical Theatre Company Foundation as Co-Founder, Production Manager and Sound Engineer (Certified by Meyer Sound), simultaneously working as Production Manager with Cellprod S.A. de C.V. developing Corporative Special Events (Pepsico International R&D Awards, Disney Mexico, Sabritas, Alegro, etc..) In 2008 she started her NYC adventure where she has worked as: Sound Board Operator for the Midtown International Theatre Festival, July 2008, Deck Sound A2 at the 45th Street Theatre in New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) Sept/Oct 2008, Sound Board & Deck Sound for The National Yiddish Theatre, December, 2008 through January, 2009, DeckSound and A2 for “The NYMF’s Best of Fest” in April, 2009. She is the proud mom of Liesl, Natassja and Daphne, “LOVE YOU”
Pianist, composer and Musical Director.
He studied piano as a career at the Escuela Nacional de Musica (UNAM) and graduated with top honors in 2001. He also studied Harmony, counterpoint and composition at the Institute of Liturgy, Music and Art "Cardenal Miranda" as well as composition and contemporary harmony with Mario Santos. In 1999 he signed a contract with “Global Entertainment” recording company to record his music and arrangements. In 2000 he won the first place at the “Concurso Pianistico 2000”. He has performed at major concert halls throughout Mexico. His work in Musical Theatre began when he started working as a piano player with OCESA Mexico; he has performed in the Mexican productions of “The Phantom of the Opera”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Chicago”, “Les Miserables”. As Assistant Musical Director he has been part of “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Beauty and Beast”, “Sweet Charity”, and “Mamma Mia” (opening soon). As Musical Director in “Hoy no me puedo levantar” by Nacho Cano. He also composed the incidental music of “La Fabrica de Santa”, as well as several jingles for TV commercials. He has worked with the Thomas Jefferson Musical Theatre Company as Musical Director doing musical arrangements for the past 5 years, currently he is working on the new arrangements for “Anjou: a tale of horror”.

He attended The National School of Music and the National Music Conservatory in Mexico, participating in magisterial courses of both conducting and musical composition, taught by recognized instructors of international prestige.He has been guest conductor of several orchestras and choirs throughout Mexico including The Symphony of Xalapa Veracruz and the Chamber Choir of Mexico. He has also been Musical and Vocal Director of over 10 productions of Musical Theatre. As a singer he has participated in productions that include singing at concerts with Ennio Morricone and Opera tours and premieres of contemporary music with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mexico City performing both in Mexico and Spain.Speaker at technical conferences in conducting technique workshops for the National Choir Coordination. He has been a teacher for over 15 years in several educational and cultural institutions.

Xavier López Miranda is a producer, composer and musician born in Mexico City; son of one the Mexico’s most beloved TV stars:“Chabelo”. Xavier studied music at Berkley College of Music and piano with Craig Najjar. Due to his fascination with art and technology he founded in 2000 Producción Espiral, a production company and record label were he has scored more than 20 films and arranged and produced tracks for such stars as Celia Cruz, Pedro Fernandez, Molotov, Yuri and Tania Libertad. He was awarded as one the most promising young entrepreneurs of 2004 by Expansion business magazine. In theatre Xavier has produced and scored several plays and in 2006 he co-wrote and produced with Mexican legendary composer Armando Manzanero, the award winning “Ciudad Blanca”. In 2008 he wrote and produced the holiday hit “ La Fabrica de Santa” with the late Marcial Alejandro. He is the founder and artistic director of PAT (Pabellon de Alta Tecnologia) a 1000 seat venue in Mexico City. Xavier has collaborated with the TJMTC since 2007. Xavier declares himself a rabid fan of anything that shines, makes noise or tells stories.
