NYMF is dedicated to ensuring that America's greatest art form remains vibrant, entertaining and compelling.
Over the last nine years, NYMF's work has led to nearly 70 new musicals finding further life beyond the festival — including two Broadway productions, a dozen off-Broadway productions, and literally hundreds of productions around the country and the globe. Without NYMF, celebrated shows from Altar Boyz to Next to Normal might never have reached the stage or found an audience — but thanks to the Festival's help, they have gone on to entertain and inspire over two million theaterlovers worldwide.
