Volunteering

A little time can go a long way...

NYMF is always looking for people who are willing to chip in for the cause.  

We're currently looking for anyone who will help out with our database project.  In preparation for the 2009 season, we're creating a new database that will result in huge improvements in operational efficiency and allow us to strengthen our services to both NYMF artists and audiences alike.

If you have typing skills and two hours to spare, we'd love to have your help with this massive data entry project.  Email Lynn Spector (lynn.spector[at]nymf.org) to sign up and earn our undying gratitude.

Past volunteer duties have included:

• Assisting with our membership drive
• Handing out NYMF flyers and swag as a part of our street team to promote the Festival
• Aiding with load-in and load-out of front of house materials
• Providing staffing assistance for NYMF special events such as NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation auditions, Broadway Battle of the Bands, and opening and closing night parties
