Developmental Series

In addition to our full productions, the festival features a smaller number of works at earlier stages of development. Ranging from book-in-hand readings to staged presentations of works-in-progress, our Developmental Series gives artists the opportunity to learn from audience response and gives audiences the ultimate insider view of the creative process - and tomorrow's musicals. The Developmental Series also serves as an opportunity to showcase some unique collaborations -- from improvised musicals to multimedia musical experiments, and to highlight talented troupes who are developing work on an ongoing basis.

From March 21-29, NYMF will present a reading of the 2007 Richard Rodgers Award winner, Main-Travelled Roads.
